Nico loved giving chickens the stare-down. But, this really stressed out Dada who was sure the chicken would peck Nico's nose off! It, in fact, did not.

Boggy Creek Farm
I wanted Nico to see a real farm today, so we took her to Boggy Creek. I love that it's in the middle of East Austin, just near our house. The Farmers' Market was so tempting (but soooo expensive) and fun to see beautiful, fresh veggies and fruit. Nico was more interested in hanging out with the chickens and noticing that they eat seeds, avocado, strawberries and 'celery' (it was actually green onions, but whatever!).

How fun! The stare down is hilarious, mostly because I can picture being worried about Nico's face getting pecked by the chicken. :) (PS, Nico's hair looks SUPER cute, did you cut it again?)
