We took the bus with the intentions to meet up with Cindy and the Niemiec-Tomfohrs at the Gypsy Picnic Food Trailer Festival (only in Austin) at Auditorium Shores. Live music, 30 trailers of food, each serving at least one item for $3 or less... Well, all of Austin also showed up, and, by the time we arrived (thanks, bus, for being 25 minutes late!), we were exhausted, hungry and out of luck. Few trailers still had food, and those that did, had lines equating to at least 30 minutes of waiting. No, thanks! So we ditched, after the kids had snacks (thanks to Jess for providing!). But it was still fun to get out and the weather was P-E-R-F-E-C-T!
