The Long Center hosted a Bubblepalooza today on the terrace. It sounded fun, but, to be honest, I have no idea exactly what it was. It was
so, so hot and crowded, and I was already cranky with the 30 minutes wasted driving around for a parking spot that we really just stood inside the lobby of the Long Center, chatting to friends/fellow parents, while Nico and her friends ran and up down the lobby aisle. To each her own!
Before we headed inside though, we caught a glimpse of Mr. Neal's
Groundwork Orchestra band playing some tunes, as well as a personal family favorite:
H.E.Buddy.
Interestingly enough, and I have
no idea what Nico is talking to him about here, she walked away telling me,
"That's not really H.E.Buddy. That's just someone in an H.E.Buddy costume."
You really can't pull one over on this kid. :)
