So, we decided after work to take Nico to a splash pad to burn some energy and get a brief respite from the weather. The one by our house wasn't working, but we decided to try a different location that we hadn't been to before. This one is by Nico's pediatrician, so we had fun talking about how "Dr. Dawson is nice!", running through the water and playing on the swings.
Ahhhh, relief. Dada and I wish we'd brought our swimsuits, too, since no one else was around! Next time.

Definitely this little girl of ours is a fan of water, no matter where, or how and what time of the day etc.

Nice! I know what a miserably hot summer it was for y'all. Fun that they have water 'escapes' like this.
