Music Appreciation

Nico loves music and loves to sing (sometimes dance, too).

This morning, she asked to turn on the radio in her room (a first!). Our friend Ethan wisely suggested a few weeks ago that we play more Beatles for her, so I put on one of the Beatles CDs the Blunts had made for her before she was born (incidently, I used to play all sorts of music for her in her nursery when she was an infant. Now she listens to music when we do-- or the stuff they learn/hear at school).

At first, she stared at the radio and said, "I don't know this." I told her it was good to learn new songs, and the Beatles are worthy of a listen. Dada came in to sing along, and she caught on quickly.

Lesson #1: Yellow Submarine.

Good job, Nico! Not surprised that she's so musically inclined! :)
