I haven't been posting monthly updates to Nico's development, since we're past the 1-year mark. But, 18 months is BIG, people. That's one and a half years. . . unbelieveable. Nico is no longer a baby, in any sense of the word.

The stats: 31.5 inches (50th percentile), 22.8 pounds (25th percentile).
Her vocabulary is extensive (I stopped counting after 75+ words), although Mama has to translate to most everyone else a lot of the time. She is fiercely independent, loves to explore, and is pretty much fearless. She hangs tough with the older kids, and she plays independently like a dream, too. She loves to read, imitate others, sing, chatter (constantly!), and tell Bailey what to do (Move! Back up! No, Bailey! -- thanks to Dad!). She also loves to play 'chase', peek-a-boo, and scream "NEAL!" out to her Dad, because she knows it makes him crazy. :)

We couldn't be more amazed at how wonderful and fun our daughter is. Our life is truly blessed.
We love you, Nico! Happy 18 months, sweet girl!
