Maybe. . .

. . . just maybe, Nico isn't going to be a complete tomboy after all. Not that there is anything wrong with being a tomboy. I was one for a time-- always wanting to do exactly what my brothers did! And oh how my dad lamented my refusal to wear dresses and skirts. . .

I'm laughing because I just saw the first gender-stereotyped behavior from Nico tonight: She wanted to try on clothes.

She was post-bath, in PJs, and rummaging through the bag of 18+ month clothes we're borrowing from Quinn that I still haven't put away. She pulled out a pair of green-with-white-polka-dot bloomers and asked to put them on ("Peaz?"). So, we put them on her. Over her PJs. And she proceeded to walk around the house like a first-class fashionista.

Oh, how we must suffer for fashion!

Of course, this was preceded by a romp around our muddy yard after school, playing in dirt and trying to eat a piece of the terracotta plant pot she had just broken.

So, really, it could either way.

Happy Friday!

And note, she says, "Nico" (but it sounds like Naco)

That is so awesome! Nico'll be a fashion trailblazer with her new 'look.' ;-) Getting that annoying 'video not available' message for the most recent videos but I'll check 'em out later!
