Well, the weekend has been full of surprises!
First, Neal threw me a surprise birthday party at Central Market last night, and it was such a blast to see so many friends in one place. Thank you, sweet Neal, and thank you Mom for helping, and thank you to everyone who showed up, including my dad from San Antonio! I think my Mom has pictures, so perhaps we'll be able to add some later.
The City of Austin allowed C3 to host a very large three-day music festival for me on my birthday (haha)! OK, maybe not for me per se. . . But, Robbin managed to get a whole cake smuggled into the fest for me:

Another surprise was the disgusting sludge after hard rains on Saturday that covered the festival grounds. Here's a picture of my and Neal's feet during Raul Malo on Sunday evening:
While Neal and I were enjoying the fest, Nico was home bonding with Grandma Monique and having a ball. See her dancing here:
