As promised, here are pictures of the Mehta backyard pool set up:
We realize most Neighborhood/Homeowners' Associations would not allow such Whiskey Tango outfits in their areas. Fortunately, we're from the East side of Austin, here on vacation. [That's a movie quote paraphrase that my brothers would get!] :)
Nico loved the pool! And her floatie. She was able to 'walk' across the pool and also kick back and lounge:
After a tasty homecooked dinner, we went to Central Market to hear Neal's college buddy, Ray Arteaga's band Son y No Son:

It was Nico's first exposure to live Latin music, and she loved it. Of course!
We had a blast! The Js and Tomfohr boys met us there, as did Uncle Dennis. Nico had a great time with all of them:

Hmmm. . . notice how the Mamas (me? Jess?) are rarely included in pictures?? We will need to remedy this soon. Oh well, great weekend so far!

Just great, and video excellent; now we need the singing of the joyful early morning in the crib ..keep at it...NICO. I am bringing my bathing suit with me, and g'ma does't really like water but this pool is inviting specially with you in it. Love and Hugs, g'ma Monique
