I am trying to slowly re-emerge into the world outside of the cave we know as our house. So, Nico went on two outings this weekend.
Saturday, we stopped by the Dia de los Muertos celebration downtown, sponsored by the Mexi-Carte Museum. There was live music and cute art tables for kids. I think she'll love that in a few years! We missed the parade/procession, but we hope to be a part of it next year!

Sunday, my parents drove back to Austin to deliver Neal's keys (long story), and they took us to lunch. Nico's first restaurant trip was to Casa Colombia. Fitting, considering her heritage. :)

I am greatful to Neal for "absentminded" leaving his keys in my car, so we could go back on Sunday to visit NICO. I believe , Neal was on my side for that one; thanks Neal. G'Ma
Can't see enough of the little one and yes indeed she was perfect and we could all eat "in peace" as the expression says...
